At VETtrak and ReadyTech, Corporate Social Responsibility is important, and a renewed focus in the new financial year. With this in mind, we’ve partnered with AimBig and their ‘BusyBeans’ program.
AimBig Employment is a national disability employment services (DES) provider. From their experience, they identified a high number of those seeking work but prevented by injury, illness, or disability were well suited for hospitality and/or food service roles.
With this in mind, they developed the BusyBeans program to assist job seekers to become job-ready in a supportive, practical environment. Specifically, the ‘Busybeans’ program trains people with a disability in becoming a Barista. Once the person has been trained, they then seek to place them in a suitable workplace as an in-house Barista.
ReadyTech and VETtrak are delighted to partner with AimBig’s BusyBean initiative and introduce Kane to our team from July 8th.
Here’s the team giving him a warm welcome on day 1!
