As we enter a brand new year, we’re excited to announce the latest major software update for VETtrak.

Version update 17.1.0, referring to the first major release of 2017, is a significant update from 4.4.8.x as it includes database changes. New features include:

  • 2017 AVETMISS reporting changes.
  • VET Student Loan changes and eCAF Integration.
  • Staff credentials.
  • Attribute alerts.
  • Invoice credit terms.
  • Upstream document management integration.

Please note: do not update your VETtrak installation until after you have finalised all your 2016 reporting.

The full list of changes is available in the release notes. We recommend becoming familiar with the changes in 17.1.0 before updating.

There will be webinar on Wednesday the 18th of January at 12:00pm for all customers interested in coming to grips with the new changes, and there will be further webinars on the new features in the near future.

There are also updates for the student portal, trainer portal and VETtrak APIs to coincide with the VETtrak release. If you are using the student portal, trainer portal, GO1 LMS or the VETtrak API, they will also need to be updated for version 17.1.0.

Locally installed customers can download the latest version of VETtrak by logging into the VETtrak Customer Centre and then going to the support centre, then clicking the link to the downloads section.

Please ensure that you have made a backup copy of your VETtrak database before updating.

Hosted customers will need to contact the VETtrak support centre team at support@vettrak.com.au to organise an update to the latest version.
